International Rare Disease Day 2022 Marked in Cities Across Croatia
ACTIVITIES, Rare Disease Day

This year, the Croatian Alliance for Rare Diseases celebrated its 20th anniversary. The Alliance is the leading organization for rare diseases in Croatia, bringing together 32 member associations and over 1,100 individual members, including patients with rare diseases and their families.
One of the key activities of the Alliance is raising public awareness about rare diseases and the challenges that patients and their families face in daily life. The most significant event for this purpose is Rare Disease Day, observed worldwide at the end of February.
Cities across Croatia showed their support by lighting up buildings to raise awareness about the issues surrounding rare diseases.
