Chronic illnesses can drain the psychological resources of those affected, impact their close family members and surroundings, and often bring emotional difficulties such as feelings of anger, sadness, and symptoms of anxiety and depression.
Psychological support helps individuals better cope with the various emotional states, situations, and reactions that come with chronic illness. Counseling can also address other topics that are important to the person. The most common counseling topics include support in coping with a diagnosis, couples counseling, health-related anxiety, and managing anxiety and depressive symptoms.
Individual and group psychological counseling is offered by a psychologist in person, by phone, or via Zoom. Psychoeducational workshops are periodically organized, and psychoeducational articles are written for those affected.
You can contact the psychologist on weekdays from 8 AM to 3 PM by phone at 099/659-6275 or via email at psiholog.hsrb@gmail.com
